Youth Programming

The USO offers a variety of educational programs and engagement opportunities for the families and youth of military families to help “lighten the load” for these children who face stressors of military life and provide a sense of belonging and community. Through our youth programs we offer monthly Preschool Power Hour reading events, kids camps, and back-to-school supply distribution. USO youth programming is designed to build resilience and foster connections between children facing similar challenges. These programs also provide a wide range of other activities appealing to different interests, including horseback riding, STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics) activities, outdoor activities, sports, and more. We also host USO Baby Shower events to support expecting military service members and spouses with baby necessities, lunch, connections to each other and other community resources. Other family-strengthening program include military spouse events, meals, movie nights, sporting events, holiday celebrations, and more.
